WHY REAL: MOVEMENT AND CLOTHES

I'm Max and I started REAL on a simple premise - movement brings peace. 
When the body is busy, the mind is empty.

This realisation was inspired by my boxing experiences, where I lived in the fullness of every moment, to the exclusion of all outside distractions. When we move, we're immersed in rhythm, attuned to the present and alive in the process. This is REAL.

It is my experience that using my body gives me a sense of agency in the face of an increasingly data-oriented and automated existence. Movement renews my sense of self.

REAL Movement Club is extension of the brand, celebrating the power of movement together offline. In a noisy world - we hope to be a place for all those who find peace in movement. In an atomised world - we hope to be the reason to bring us closer. A community based on common interest.



Movement Club is a mix of mobility, bodyweight strength and cardio. We operate around London and across the South West of England, including; Dorset, Somerset, Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. 

Movement Club is a moment to move away from the increasing automation and digitalisation of life, to do something more human.



There are four things that can raise our mood; doing something that's beneficial for the body, a sense of achievement, a closenes to others and enjoyment. Movement Club has all four. 

Inspired by the movement of boxers, REAL makes considered clothing that's built to enhance athleticism and allows you to move in the immediacy of every moment. Our fine menswear is born from being comfortable under pressure.

Boxing is a highly energised sport and demands precise clothing with technical attributes to remain comfortable under intense conditions. 

Our fine training pieces are treated with silvadur, an advanced and eco-friendly treatment for preventing the build up of bacteria and odours. 

All of our fabrics are sourced from well-known Italian mills, with an emphasis on lightweight construction and an aerated structure. We further enhance the performance of the clothing with laser-cut ventilation eyelets and an enhanced wicking finish.



We design all of our own clothing over a development period of 12-18 months, involving 2-3 iterations of product. This process ensures precise measurements, rigour-testing by boxers to ensure suitability and durability, before we manufacture small batches of pan-seasonal clothing in Portugal.
