Time & Energy are the new luxury: How do you spend yours?
Phrases such as 'life is short' and 'Time and tide wait for no man' remind us that life is finite, long enough to matter and that we should prioritise what we hold dear. Time is equally given but unequally available. Time has always been a luxury.

Most folks spend most of their time on necessities: working to earn, caring for family members, commuting and managing household responsibilities. Free time becomes scarce and valuable. Having control over your time and choosing how you spend it is a form of wealth that money cannot buy.
In our modern era life can feel faster than ever. Every technological breakthrough is lauded for the convenience it brings, allowing us to get more done. The paradox is that while technology saves us time, most would agree that we feel more rushed. Endless streams of information compete for our attention. When we're not at our computers, most of us are tethered to our smartphones, anywhere and at any time. The ability to disconnect and maintain digital privacy is rare in today's world.

Our digital world creates a shortage not just of time, but of mental and emotional energy. Spending time in a state of high alert can have deleterious long-term consequences. It is when we move that we detach from the noise. Movement takes us into our bodies and gives our mind a moment to pause. When we move, we live in the fullness of felt experience. We are present.

Health and presence are affordable and available to all. It takes discipline and patience to maintain either, which makes it exclusive.
On Saturday 27 June, our REAL Movement Club is hosted at Lighthouse Social, in Fulham. A new private sanctuary, with three floors of exceptional space and overlooking the river Thames. A truly landmark, riverside destination.

Movement Club is a chance to step away from the noise - to move, connect, and share the experience. We've partnered with Lighthouse Social to enhance wellbeing through community.
There are four things that can raise mood; doing something that's beneficial for the body, a sense of achievement, a closeness to others and enjoyment. Movement Club offers all four.
